Overview
A cookie is a small text file stored by your browser. The core JSON Formatter tool does not set tracking cookies. This page describes any cookies that may be set by optional third-party services.
Local storage (not cookies)
We use your browser's local storage — not cookies — to remember your editor input, indentation preference and theme. Local storage never travels with HTTP requests and is not accessible to third parties.
Analytics
If enabled, privacy-friendly analytics such as Plausible or Cloudflare Web Analytics do not set cookies. We deliberately chose cookieless providers so no consent banner is required.
Advertising
Ad networks placed on informational pages may set their own cookies. If we enable ads, this page will list the network and link to its cookie policy so you can opt out.
Managing cookies
You can clear cookies and local storage at any time from your browser's settings. Doing so removes any saved editor state on this site.
